Jecintana Wahu
Jecinta Wahu’s life took an unexpected turn during a business trip to Kajiado South. As she explored the area, she noticed young girls working tirelessly in the fields, their dreams sidelined by harsh realities. Some couldn’t attend school due to a lack of fees, while others struggled with the stigma around menstruation, unable to afford sanitary pads. Many were burdened by early pregnancies, forcing them to give up on education.
This broke Jecinta’s heart. She realized these girls needed more than just hope—they needed real opportunities. Inspired by their resilience, she founded Beyond Nurturing Org, an initiative aimed at helping girls return to school, access basic necessities like pads, and receive vocational training to secure a better future.
Jecinta’s organization has since transformed countless lives, giving the girls of Kajiado South a chance to break free from cycles of hardship. What started as a business trip blossomed into a mission to create lasting change, one girl at a time.

Beyond Nurturing Org is dedicated to uplifting girls and young mothers in Kajiado South, Kenya. Our mission is to provide essential support, including education, vocational training, and health services, to help these young women build a better future.
